Spring-Like

This winter season has been the longest & coldest one that I can remember. I'm super ready for spring and rumor is, today will hit 60 degrees. To celebrate, I'm wearing my over-sized sunglasses and contemplating some celebratory cigar smoking outside the Norwich Inn. Their porch and rocking chairs are lovely. Not to mention their home-brewed beer... That sounds like the perfect way to spend the first real hope of summer.

Mmm typefaces and tiny metal letters

 
New business card in the works! Open, free-to-the-public letterpress studio at the local college. I'm in heaven. They have a paper vault. A vault. FULL. Of PAPER. Not to mention endless amounts of typefaces and woodblocks. I will sleep there. I will never leave. The room smells lovely. Like vintage stories and antique presses waiting for affection.

Birch trees and who else.

A texture overload. Birch tree pattern, soft feathers, rough feathers, and a water color branch. I'm into it.

Seastache!

I made a lovely moustache stamp sometime ago and as I was stamping it on a thank you tag, I realized it needed a little something more. The wave doodler in me went wild. And seastache was born.

It's kind of a known fact.
